About US

Azerbaijan Film Commission was established in 2021 to support and encourage film productions in Azerbaijan as a new and unique destination. Our mission is to help international and local filmmakers through every stage of production. We aim at both improving recognition of Azerbaijan as a stunning filming location and putting the potential of Azerbaijani audiovisual sector to effective use.

Filming Azerbaijan is an affiliation of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We provide guidance and contacts to filmmakers coming into the country, starting from permits and legal requirements to equipment rental, from press coverage and finding talent to accommodation. As the experts of our local industry, we provide an excellent liaison between the local talent and untapped potential and international filmmakers.

All of our resources are aimed at helping interested filmmakers through every step of production.
